Last night was the ING fundraiser for Growing Up Organic - a dinner catered by some of our best local island chef's and with the help of the high school students who are on the catering program. As well as the dinner there was a silent and live auction with some amazing and interesting auction items, including beer from the local brewery, artwork, local wine, massage and other services, cheese, chocolates and some huge spaghetti squash with recipes (wonder who donated that…)
Everyone had a fabulous evening enjoying food that was 95% from the island and bidding on the auction items. We managed to come away with some specialty lily/iris bulbs and a tiki for the garden!
