OK, so it’s happened twice now.
I’ve been listening to David Hasselhoff (crooning the BEST of cheesy love songs) and a feeling of deep inner peace and joy has washed over me. As a spritual lifecoach it behooves me to consider this further.
Do you love me? How am I supposed to live with out you? Something about mashed potatoes. You’ve lost that loving feeling.
It is SO cheesy I can’t help but smile. And as the mashed potatoes do their job on me I slip into this wonderful space of acceptance, that the world is a wonderful, amazing and amusing place.
I wonder what the people next to me at the junction must think as David belts out ‘Historia de un amor’. And I don’t care. I have a silly grin on my face and everything is right with the world (even though it is clearly wrong).
So, my imagined plan for world peace is to get everyone a David Hasslehoff cassette tape and make them listen to it every day for at least 30 minutes.
Or would I be arrested for mental torture?
If you’re tempted to test The Hoff’s amazing capacity for creating amusement, joy and inner peace – check this link to a RECENT music video: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3382491587979249836 and try telling me you didn’t smile…
Alternatively – buy a Hasslehoff CD http://www.amazon.ca/Looking-Freedom-David-Hasselhoff/dp/B000028AFJ/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1216939081&sr=8-3 but first read the reviews – it has 4 of them – all 5 star reviews!
Yep, you’re still just as mad 😉
I’m on the side of ‘mental torture’, but that’s just me!
The house looks fantastic, and I love that you’re sharing it with us. If you’re looking for topic ideas, maybe you can tell us how you get your power/water/etc. what happens if you get snowed in.
Anyway, I’ll definitely be following this blog… so enjoy life and report 😉
